Why we built it

Every AI tool we tried treated our codebase like a blank page.

They generated plausible code that ignored our architecture, reinvented components we already had, and left us cleaning up before anything could merge. We spent more time correcting the output than we saved.

So we built the tool we wanted: one that reads what is already there and respects it, and hands back a running app you can actually ship.

What Shipd does

From a sentence to a running app.

Describe an app and Shipd generates it, full multi-page apps with routing in React, Vue, Svelte, or vanilla, running live in your browser in seconds. Chat with your app’s real state, plan a build step by step, follow up with edits, and roll back to any version. Then deploy to a live URL, push to GitHub, or export in a click.

It reads your codebase

An agentic explorer maps your repo into an Architecture Brief, then reuses your real components, tokens, and conventions.

It ships anywhere

Deploy to Vercel, push to GitHub, add a custom domain, or bring a Figma frame in through our Community plugin.

It comes with a backend

Generated apps get end-user sign-in and per-user data out of the box, isolated and rate-limited, with zero setup.
